Android also offers very much open functional environment in the smartphones but still up-to some extent. But people want to take full advantage of the money they paid for their smartphone.
Luckily, XDA-developers developed a way so that people can fully take advantages for the phone they have paid for. Rooting is one of the most discussed articles on internet today.

What is Rooting?

Rooting is the process to gain the root access of operating system. Rooting will give you the superuser access. Once you rooted your device, you can modify it according to your own mind. Rooting will remove all the stop points for you. With these super priviledges, you can even modify/edit the operating system, flash custom ROMS, increase battery life and performance and much more. Its same as the “Jailbreaker” in Apple devices.

Why do we need Root?

In a normal smartphone, manufacturers only gives us “guest privileges” only.
So the people interested in gaining an extra knowledge take these “guest privileges” as money wastage. So they need to Root their smartphones to get the Superuser access. These tech-savvy users can’t live under these limitations as they always want to customize the operating system, uninstall the pre-installed bloatwares, install those advanced software that can't be installed on normal device.

How to root?

So you want to Root!!Cool down please. Getting superuser privileges by hacking into the operating system are not as easy as some people think. You will have to bypass the security put by the device manufacturer on your device The process of rooting varies from device to device. As its impossible to taught you about about all of these devices here, so here you will have to take google help.

  •  You can do it using command prompt also after connecting your device with computer through data cable and then entering lot of commands, but its not user friendly and normal users can’t do it. So now a days, many ONE CLICK ROOT applications are also there. Try to find one suitable for the device which you want to root. Some of those are Oneclickroot, Vroot, Farmaroot etc etc.

Preparations for Root:

  • While Rooting, You may lost all of your data. Although chances are less. But I personally advice you to backup your data, sim, phone and SDcard so that you can recover it back if something goes wrong.
  • Charge your device battery atleast 50%-100% because it may take some time.
  • Turn on the USB debugging option in your device For this, Goto:Settings->developer options->USB Debugging->Turn ON .
  • Some devices have Developer option hidden. For this goto: Settings->about device-> Built number and tap on it atleast 10 times until you see the message saying Developer option is turned on.
  • Do not interrupt the process in between else you will most probable Brick your phone. Bricked phone is that which is as useless as a brick and you will not be able to do anything on it.
  • While processing, keep calm and do not get hyper. It may take upto 30 minutes also, depending on the device and your device may restart several times during the process. So keep calm.
