What’s new in Android 5.0 Lollipop

Yesterday, 15/10/2014, Google released its new android version lollipop 5.0 with nexus 6 and Nexus 9.
As we know each new android version has various new features in it. What new features this Lollipop 5.0 have?


So, let’s take a look on what’s new in Android 5.0


Here are some of the known features of this new version

1. The inbox messages are displayed on the sidebar when you are viewing a particular message. i.e. you need no go back to view the inbox (in tablets).


2. Battery: More power saving options for the battery adjustments.
--You can extend battery up-to 90 minutes by disabling much of the power consuming programs.
--It will tell you about the estimated time left to fully charge the battery when device is plugged in.
--It will give you the estimated time after which you will have to recharge the battery.
3.Security:
--You can give guest privilege to those whom which you don’t want to share your private data
--You can also have multiple accounts in your device for others. So you can lend your device to others without having any trouble regarding the private data that you don’t want to share.


4. Notification panel:
--A more smoother and customizable notification panel is there.
--You can view message directly on lock screen and have ability to hide your private content on the screen.
--You have ability to turn-off or prioritize the notification according to the need/preference.



5. Performance:
--Approx 4* times more performance speed than other versions.
--High UI(user interface)
 --You can play videos at about 30 frames/sec.


6. Phone calls will never disturb you while you are playing video. ,music etc.  You can answer the calls or allow it to keep going without the answer.

7. It has high power Bluetooth with more range scanning.

Well these are some of the features of this latest android version. Further will be updated soon. This version on the spot is available in Google Nexus 6 and Nexus 9. However its update will be available in the previous devices also. Not all the devices will get its update but hope that many of them will.
